Outdoor Element Meta Review - Insights and Highlights

Discover firsthand opinions about Outdoor Element. Is it a hit or miss? We’ve aggregated user and pro reviewers feedback for you. below are the key takeaways:

Pros:

" Firebiner, Such a cool tool! Bought it looking for a carabiner for my keys, when I pack them away, but all the extra tools make it a perfect tool when I'm out fishing!"

"I was looking to add more firestarting capabilities that had multiple functions. This firebiner fit the bill perfectly."

"Kodiak Survival Bracelet, My son has tried the flint and it works well. He was excited to get it and wears it every day"

"Well made carabiner with fire wheel that sparked pretty much every time. Also has a sharp cutting tool, bottle cap opener, etc."

"I use a carabiner to carry my keys, so when I saw this firebiner I bought it immediately. Absolutely love this - lightweight, durable, sparks well & comes with extra Ferri rods."

"Been looking for something like this forever. A carabiner that has holes for keyrings other than the main hook so that keys can come off and get lost by accident. The spark wheel is icing on the cake."

"Bought this at the Colorado Insanity Mud Run in Larkspur. Have had it for 6 months and everyone that I show, they love it. Great piece and functional."

"This is the best carabiner I have owned. It is super lightweight yet strong as heck!"

"Definitely a fun, well made “firebiner” that we’ll be bringing along on future camping trips."

"This little carabiner brings the heat, and anything else you want to clip to it. With its integrated EverSpark spark wheel the Firebiner throws enough brilliant sparks to light a fire, start your camp stove, or ignite the BBQ. "

Cons:

"Not so easy to work with. Dry leaves, or splinters of wood will not start. Not enough spark. "

"Really wanted to like this but for a key holder it really doesn’t work. The keys always get caught on the blade part and the clip hinge is way too loose."

Final Thoughts:

"Overall, People are very much satisfied and surprised with the products they buy from Outdoor Element. The products are not only useful for the mountaineers but also useful for civilians. At last, We recommend you to read all the reviews before you make any purchase."

Can the Kodiak Survival Bracelet be worn in the water?

True and false. They say some’ve worn in the rain for over a year and may have leapt into a couple of bodies of water while wearing it without incident. There is an element of hygroscopy (an object’s ability to absorb water) involved. If your braid is saturated day after day, it will absorb some water, which implies that the blood, perspiration, and adventure may cause it to expand slightly and feel tighter.

How do I reassemble the Kodiak Survival Bracelet once I've disassembled it?

The Kodiak Survival Braid is a need for survival…

If you find yourself in a jam (think emergency) and need to catch food or start a fire, it is there to help you survive and live to tell the tale. Once you’ve used it, there’s not much you can do to repair it except brag about how you used a little braid around your wrist to save your own or someone else’s life.

Who knows, if you snap some photos and share your tale with them, they could just send you a new one.

How sturdy is the bespoke OE survival cord they've created?

They enhanced the typical 550 Paracord. They manufacture the unique survival cord in the United States of America in a business that also produces Mil-Spec cord for our military. To verify this, they had a Mil-Spec tensile test performed on it by their vendor. Tensile strength was around 586 pounds on average. Thus, you may continue to refer to it as “550 Cord” when referring to its strength.

Is a return policy in place?
